With over 21 years of experience in Environmental Management, and 17 in Hydropower. I bring a strong foundation in sustainable development, regulatory compliance, and environmental stewardship. Three years ago, I was appointed to the Board of Directors at Hidroeléctrica de Cahora Bassa (HCB), Mozambique¹û¶³´«Ã½ leading hydropower company, with responsibility over Projects, Human Resources, Infrastructures and other strategic areas.

My work has given me deep insights into Mozambique¹û¶³´«Ã½ energy landscape and the broader African region¹û¶³´«Ã½ hydropower potential and challenges. I am passionate about advancing access to clean, sustainable energy while ensuring that development is socially inclusive and environmentally responsible.

As an IHA Board Member, I would advocate Hydropower role for greater regional collaboration, increased knowledge-sharing, and capacity building across Africa. I believe the IHA should further support its members in implementing best practices and innovations that align with global climate and development goals. HCB remains strongly committed to the IHA¹û¶³´«Ã½ values and fully supports the San José Declaration on Sustainable Hydropower. We are working to embed sustainability and resilience into every aspect of our operations.
