LSH Consulting Engineers

Founded in Zurich-Switzerland in 2004 and headquartered in Lima since 2007, LSH Consulting Engineers specializes in renewable energy engineering, particularly hybrid systems (hydropower/solar and eolic) and underground works. LSH manages all project phases from inception to execution, providing services like due diligence, design, and construction supervision. With a commitment to sustainability, LSH is a signatory of the San José Declaration on Sustainable Hydropower and integrates eco-friendly innovations into projects, e.g. a unique and patented shrimp ladder for a 178 MW hydropower plant on Peru's Ocoña River, a major shrimping region in Peru.

Joining the ¹û¶³´«Ã½ (IHA), LSH underscores its commitment to sustainable energy by collaborating with global hydropower leaders. In a critical era for clean energy, LSH aims to promote hydropower in combination with solar/eolic as a key solution in the fight against climate change in Latin America.

Project Highlights:

  • HPP Nam E Moun (130 MW, 2018-2023, Laos)
  • Large-Scale Hydropower Potential Study (2015-2017, Amazonas and Ucayali Basins, Peru)
  • Large-Scale Pumped Storage Potential Study (2017-2018, Peru)

Notable achievements include the HPP Nam E Moun project in Laos completed on a record timeline, and the Hydropower Potential Study in Peru¹û¶³´«Ã½ Amazonas and Ucayali Basins, funded by CAF - the Latin American Development Bank. LSH completed a Pumped Storage Study for Peru, sponsored by a German partner, identifying 72 sites for potential installations (250-1200 MW) across the Peruvian Andes.

LSH aims to lead Latin America¹û¶³´«Ã½ engineering consultancy market for hydropower and hybrid renewable systems, gaining recognition for innovative, sustainable infrastructure solutions that fuel regional growth and economic resilience.
