������ý (IHA) is pleased to welcome Montenegro������ý national power company, Elektroprivreda Crne Gore AD Nikšić (EPCG), as our newest member.  

EPCG owns and operates a total installed electric power capacity of 874 MW, of which 649 MW is from two hydroelectric power plants: Piva and Perućica.  

The company is also constructing a new plant, Komarnica, which will have an installed capacity of 172 MW and expected generation of 220 GWh. This will be the first large hydropower plant to be built in Montenegro for over 40 years.

IHA is a non-profit organisation with members operating in over 120 countries. A third of the world������ý total installed hydropower capacity is managed by the association������ý membership.

Eddie Rich, CEO of IHA, said: “We are delighted to welcome EPCG to IHA������ý rapidly growing membership. Our association������ý role is to promote good and best practices in sustainable hydropower and to support companies committed to delivering on the clean energy transition.”
